Whats the most power i can get out of a 64 283 and still keep it a daily driver. Plus what should i do first and last to it.

A 283 with no more than a good old CC 270S solid cam or the great old -097 Duntov solid cam, a 600 cfm 4-barrel on a good intake and a set of headers will turn the little motor right on!!

Then, drive it like you stole it!!

PS., and use a cheap set of Z-, (-142), valve springs too. B/c she will go above 7,000 rpm EASY!!
