i am installing a 454 in my 71 with colum shift i want to run shorty headers has anyone done this. i have been looking for a set of shorty headers but none of them fit the application if anyone has can you let me know what brand header you used and if you had any clearance issues putting them in. thanks

I have these on my 59 (Sanderson)
Some block grinding for clearance on gen V & VI will be necessary.
Also the driver side header does not allow clearance for the bellcrank on manual trans cars.
Mini starter is highly recommended to avoid removing header for starter service.

Aside from all this----I like em just fine, and prefer them over the tubular headers
