I bought a 66 with a 454 block. Short AFTERMARKET aluminum water pump. My question is...which pulleys should I have? The power steering belt wants to come off whenever I run the motor over 4000 rpms. The crank pulley is a 3 groove. 2 in close, a space, then 1 groove out about 3/4". Someone had to shim behind the alt bracket(drivers side) and also the p/s bracket to try and line things up. The crank pulley is also shimed out about 1/8". Any ideas? I'd like to put billet pulleys on, but I want to buy the right stuff the first time. Thanks.

I would try ebay, I got the 2 groove pulleys for my 67, and they live up perfectly, are billet aluminum, and I think they were 99.00 to my door. They look great, and if you use the Gates Green Stripe belts, they wont come off. Of course, unless your crank is bent!

Larry, not sure if this is the pulley you need. I almost bought it myself, but I actually only need a 1 groove pulley and the pulley for the power steering to put on top of the 1 groove pulley. I bought this one instead (not even sure it's what I needed)

Hopefully that link is to the one you need
