I just pulled a valve cover off of my newly aquired SS 396. The heads are 6272292. I'd like to know valve size, combustion chamber size and if these heads are any good to modify. Also, in 1969, did any production SS 396 cars come with a powerglide from the factory?

No SS 396's in 1969 came with a powerglide although the 3-speed manual came standard. Next was the m-20,m-21,m-22, and turbo -400. I do know you could get a powerglide in 67 SS's though. 68 the last year?
