I traded today a 350 short block for a complete intake to pan big block. Problem is I dont know what size it is and neither did the guy I got it from. Heres the engine ID number T10IITLM and the casting number of the heads 6272282 or 6272292. Can anyone ID this engine?
thanks alot Dave

My book shows 6272292 were used in 71 with valve size of 2.06/1.72 hp level 240&270 ls-3 and ls-5 402 and 454 motors. The engine # you gave is way off should looke more like the # you gave on your heads.

The "Members Only" database says that a TLM suffix is a 1972 Chevrolet Truck 396-402 210 T.H. 400 4bbl.

Hey Dave,
Don't count out that truck motor for performance. For the street you may have an excellent motor. All big blocks have tons of torque wich is a different power than small blocks can't make. I don't want to belittle small blocks but big block low end grunt is so cool in the street. Its like power to pull down building any time you want. You don't need revs just alot of fuel.
