I have a stock 350 from a '94 chevy truck. Would a 930 CFM Barry Grant (Holley reworked from late '90's) double pumper work on this motor? I just want to use it for a temporary fix.

need a manifold adapter if it has the Q-jet manifold, plus all the usual changeover stuff. It will probably run good enough to get around a couple days.

depends on if there is an adapter made for your intake to put a four barrell carb on it. i dont think there is, since if it is stock you should have a two barrell throttle body on it. not to mention that 930cfm would be major overkill on that motor and it might even have a rough time getting started due to not having enough velocity through it to adequately draw the fuel into the cylinder

It already has a Q-jet manifold along with a adapter to holley. The q-jet that have is in need of a rebuild or probably just thrown away. I have a holley 4010 600 CFM, but it has a major vacuum leak at the throttle shaft.
The BG 930 is in great condition. Do you think the jets from the 600 would help make it easier to draw enough fuel out to start it?

The carb works, it bogs if you floor it. It sounds like it shuts off then comes to life. It takes awhile to warm up, about 10 minutes, there might not be t-stat in it.

that's what would be expected, it's way too big for the engine. you didn't put the jets from the 600 in it, did you?
