I'm guessing, since those tires are 30 year old technology and the only people who buy them are the dwindling supply of muscle car owners, that they are curtailing production.

Try a set of Firestone Indy500s. Much better tire and still have the raised white letters.

Older sizes are becoming harder and harder to get. I have P195/75/R14's on mine and they are very few manufacturers out there.
put new tires on the Saturn 4 years ago. 14" wheels. Could only find 3 to choose from.

when i put tires on the beaumont this past spring, i looked at putting radial t/a's on in a 50 series. I was told they were not being made anymore. so i settled for the next best and put a set of cooper cobras on it.

As said above it appears that the world is moving away from 14-16" rims and this old style tread technology is out the door as well.

That size of tire is small for a rear tire. Have you tried alternate sizes like a 255-60 for the rear? You can use the third tire for your spare.

Try Coker tire, I think they have the molds to reproduce Radial T/A since BFG won't get off their arses and do it as usual.

I will never run their POS tires out of principle again, they absolutely ARE NOT WORTH THE WAIT AND HASSLE.

Firehawk Indy 500, Cooper Cobra, M/T, and several others could have my money instead until I can get rid of these forsaken 15"s and get some 17"s so actual GOOD tires are available.

thanks for all the replys. I would of gone with something else had 3 of the cars tires not been brand new bfgs. however I found a private seller and got a new 235/60/15 bfg. after some burnouts I will be switching to totally different tires because bfgs are a pain

I was about to suggest Coker as well. I think I remember them advertising that they consistently manufacture and keep radial T/As in stock.

u will probably find that the 235R60 tires to be few and far between. they were really not a standard size oem tire, at least i have never seen them. i think 245R60x15 are plentiful and still in production as they are replacement for G60x15
i went looking for a good used set of 225R70x14, 9 years ago. Took me 6 months to find one set. i had to travel 125 miles to purchase them.

Yeah, I sell tires for a living and have direct access to BFG factory as well as the Michelin/BFG factory distributors, they have been on backorder for months in that size. I was considering going with those in that size, but might also be going with the cooper cobra's, or the Indy500's as mentioned above, both of which I can also order directly through the factory.

I was looking at going with a 245/60/15 tire also though, but would have to see how it fits on my 15x7 in the front. I do want to raise it a bit, but not sure how much going from a 235/60/15. Shoot, the tires I have on the rear now, 265/50/15 Dunlop GT qualifiers aren't even in production anymore. No major tire manufacturer that I have found still has them in production!
