I have some wiring near the starter as well as my fuel lines run down the frame rail right next to the headers. I would like to put some sort of flame guard heat sleeving some sorta stuff on. What works best in your experiences?

1. Earl's Flame Guard (pricey but does it work?)

2. Thermo Tec Heat Sleeve (cheap enough and I have used it before but does it really do the job?)

3. ? (insert product manufacturer and # here)

4. ? (insert product manufacturer and # here)

And so on and so on...

I have the stuff the Cup guys use and its not that expensive. What color and how much do you need.
Black or silver. 5 - 6'. Pm me a price.
I use aerospace "fire sleeve" that I buy locally for 7.30/ft. It works great. I've even put the torch to it for kicks and it won't burn.
Me too. I even wrapped my new mini starter in it. Also ran my wires near starter and headers in it. Works great on old tractors too!!:D
Hmm, that makes 2 votes. Investigation underway. Thanks guys!
Bringing this one back from the dead. Looking to get this project done this winter. Any new products out there? Best? Ones to stay away from...
