found some stuff in home depot or local hardware store.it was a 2 part mix in atube.unbeleivable,called plastic weld,,also gorilla glue i heard is great,good luck...
The plastic weld stuff is probably a type of epoxy, which would give you a very strong repair. Since its on the backside, you should be able to build up around the repair area without concern for how it looks.
I repaired one with a two part epoxy called PC-7. It's available at most Ace Hardware stores. PC-11 is the same thing, except for the color. -7 is black, and -11 is white.
Go to an auto body repair supply house.They have a product called Fusion. I believe it's for attaching body panels.We just repaired and strengthened a 70 dash with it. Very tough stuff, but expensive.
