i was hitting 11.52 with my 4150 lbs pickup
last year 10.77 with the 69 Chevelle.
stock zz502 with Pro-Systems carb
Your chevelle must be lite? Mine went 10.92 at 3500lbs with a prosystems 1000cfm on an RPM airgap. and a flat cut to bump the comp to 10-1. And A probillet MSD with 2 in primary headers and 295/65 M/T et street radials.

Come to think of it Chris, who really leaves anything stock? :D

I have two buddies that have them, one is a 67 Caprice with a stock ZZ502 other then a 850 DP carb on it and MSD ignition, it ran a best of [email protected] with a T400, 3000 stall and 3.73s on ET street radials....That car weighs like 4200lbs with him in it....It was setup pretty well, elec. fan, good 3" exhaust etc...

My other buddy had one in a 69' Vette. It was a stock ZZ502 with a T400 and only 2500 stall, 3.55 gears. It ran [email protected] mph on average.....then it scattered the IRS... It only had a 2.5" exhaust system and turbo mufflers, along with full mechanical accessories etc...It had a lot of stuff pulling it down....not to mention the usual vette hood clearance issues probably hurting some power.

I don't know how you guys were running 10s with stock ZZ502s unless you had them in really light, WELL setup cars......or go karts or something...

Oops, mph was 118. With 4.10 gear, 30-12.5 tire.

Stock ZZ502 with BG 850 Vac Sec Carb, Full 2.5" Flowmaster Exhaust, stock exhaust manifolds. I do have Crower SS full roller rockers.

'69 Camaro with TH400 (3500 stall), 4.11, approx 3800lbs. Went 12.10 @ 107 mph.

May try an HP950 Carb soon, looking for 11.99 through the stock manifolds. Headers just won't work in this car (has factory A/C).

My motor is an all stock ZZ502/502, in a 1969 Chevelle see below. With more suspension tuning I think I can get it to go faster this year. Slicks I run are 29.5 x 9 that have been sitting for years and could use a new set, Exhaust consist of Hooker super comp heders and full 3" exhaust with Flowmaster top ten shoot out mufflers, stall on ten inch converter is around 2800, 1000Hp holley carb, Msd 6al, power steering and factory fan setup.

Video of Dyno run at begining of season to figure some things out. This is also the first time out of the garage in more than 8 years, I can't believe I let it sit that long.

My best with a totally stock '66 ss and only changing carb to a mecanical 850DP was 11.44 ET & 115.33 MPH, 3:73 & 28 x 10 slicks, 700R4, 1.75 open headers. This set-up floats the valves @ the 1000' mark.
