I have a set of Quick Jacks. I use them for a lot of things. My C6 Z06 is so low that its a pain to get up in the air. With the Quck Jacks its easy. Also use them on other cars and trucks. Works great for brake work or tire rotation. I got mine thru Costco a few years back on sale for under $900.

I imagine suspension work and even work on the rear end or fuel tank is easier?

Tuxedo 9000 4 years ago. Wheel kit. 2 manual bridge jacks are a must. The fee to deliver and install was only about twice delivery cost. Working steady it two men that do that for a job a few hours to do. They require some tools I do not own. I changed 2 torque converters using the bridge jacks.
Only 4" cement. Free standing. Only 20 amps to run the hydraulics.
You do have to be careful with all of them when lowering. When you release/engage the lock is the trick.
I wanted one that the truck would fit between the uprights and have extra room on the driveways.

I found this one last night:

Seems like a real possibility for the home garage.

I could fit it in my little two car.

Anyone have an any experience?

I researched this to death over the past several months. I bought a Bendpak 10k# asymmetrical two-post a few months ago and love it. I just ordered their 9k# four-post a couple of days ago. If you call them and speak with a salesperson you can probably get a discount. My two-post purchase was a nightmare of delays and mixups and it took almost three months to arrive. They ended up discounting it about $800.00 AND giving me a free oil drain cart for all of the trouble. When I ordered my four-post they knocked $300.00 off of that price without hesitation.

After all of my research I chose their two-post based on their using thicker steel than other brands with the same weight rating. I’m not sure about the metal gauge of their four-post lifts as compared to their competitors. But I like the fact that all of their cables and control lines are routed inside the posts and runners. Other brands have them routed outside the posts. Not a huge deal, but I don’t want to snag things on exposed cables or controls.

Whichever brand you decide on make sure to look closely at their online schematics before you decide on a model. Some advertise an overall length which includes the ramps and some advertise the length of just the runners. The advertised weight ratings are also for longer wheelbase cars. Shorter wheelbase cars need to be lighter than 9,000#. Bendpak has charts in their online instruction manuals that show the weight ratings for various wheelbases.

Yep. In a 2 car garage with 8' ceilings. I mounted it permanently and never utilized the portability function. It was better than jackstands of course but still a lot of crawling around under the car.

It did allow removing body and sliding the chassis out from under it to mount the body on a rotisserie.

I also looked at the Max Jack option. Problem is it won't pick up my 3/4 ton crew cab truck. Not that I need to lift it often but if I need to I want a lift that will do it. I think I will end up with either the BendPak or Advantage lift. Whoever will give me the best price. Got to get the rain to stop so I can get tree cut, concrete poured and building started.

I have both the Max Jax and an Atlas 9K tall/wide four post.

The MJ is setup in the same ‘footprint’ as the four post. That is, between the columns alongside the four post runners. I’ve only used it to lift the body on/off the frame (frame/chassis on the four post runners) so far.

The MJ will be setup separate from the four post in my next shop and used to service my SxS, remove/rotate wheels & tires, brake work, etc. Until then I can still do the same by driving onto the four post and using the MJ to lift the vehicle off the Atlas.

I do have a bridge jack with the Atlas, but it’s still a pain to do any suspension/brake work using the Atlas.

I’ve been happy with the Atlas and have had my GMC diesel up on it with zero issues. And the MJ has been fine as well considering how I’ve used it so far.
