Make sure the drivers side support spring is in good shape. I had to salvage a 70 bench seat to redo the springs in my 70 when I recovered them.
Another tip, replace the burlap that goes between the seat springs and the foam. I got some nice burlap from Wal-Mart. This keeps the springs from destroying the cotton padding.
