Which headrests are the same as those available in a 66 with a split bench seat (if any). What level of difficulty would you rate adding them to my existing seat? Is it worth the hassle or even possible?

Can't help ya much as my car is a 72.

My head-rests are pretty much useless. I don't really use them and they fall pretty often.

-I don't really know how much your 66 will differ.

I'm not an authority, but have researched this topic for my 68. I did not hear, read, see, nor did anyone mention 66 head rests. It is my opinion that they are virtually non existent. The 68 is rare and the 67 is very rare (only saw 1 pair of 67's in my continuous parts hunts, sold for $250.00 and the chrome shafts were pitted and covers had cracks). Also, there is hardware required inside the seat.
I quit looking for mine because I would have had to buy a complete set of seats to get the brackets. I still keep my eyes and ears open, but not on a mission to find them anymore. I'll spend my money on better things.
