I'm sure this has beeen asked a 100 times but have not been a member that long so here goes 66 300 deluxe 8 inch rallys rear 7 inch front how big a rear tire can I run on the rear and how tall and skinny on the front? Thank you for your comments.

Depends on the Backspacing too...

I fit 265/50-15 on 15X7 GM rallys (from a 70's Monte Carlo) on the front of my '66 and DUMPED it... Very little problems...

I used 15X8 on the back, with 295/50-15 also lowered extremely... No cutting/rolling, and very little problems...

BUT, the rear wheels were Custom backspaced ( ~4.75"+ of BS)...
