I want a quality bed mat for my '71. Anyone have any recommendations on one as far as the best deal/quality out there?

I think mine came from NPD ,good quality and I like it. Mine has a bed cover also so I dont know how it would hold up in the weather .It is thick and fairly heavy so it would probably be fine in the elements.

Like John says, they are very heavy so when you shop around for price, don't forget to take into consideration what the freight charges will be. A closer supplier with a higher selling price still might be the cheapest overall.

I bought my mat from ground up. it weighs 90 lbs. fits & looks great but I don't use it. I'll tell you why. when I wash the elky, hard as I try not to water gets under the mat. it won't take long for that tiny spec of rust that wasn't bothering anyone to expand. taking it in & out every time is an accident waiting to happen with new paint. what I did do was to get some black indoor outdoor carpet lay the mat over it & cut out a new mat.(made out of the indoor outdoor rug) it looks good & can come out in a second. just my 2cents. hmardown
