Got lucky at swap meets, bought 2 pair of Chevy cast aluminum covers for $20 a pair, they looked alike, both were black wrinkle painted from the factory. One set came off a BBC truck motor and the other set, with drippers, probably came off a GM crate motor. Cleaned them up, recoated them with VHT black wrinkle paint, put the set with the drippers on my MJ 467 and sold the other pair for $50 at a swap meet. Black ribbed covers are not for everyone but they don’leak, may not be able to use with all brands of roller rockers or may have to double gasket to clear on some brands.
