Longer Intake Bolts BBC

I noticed that too when I installed my air gap intake.
I think I might have pulled some threads on a couple.
I'll probably go to the hardware store and get some longer, maybe allen head bolts.
Pass this along to everyone you know. Most of the performance intake manifolds use extra heavy mounting rails. Most of the aftermarket bolts listed in all the catalogs are always too short for these thicker than stock intakes.

If you order the ARP intake bolts for the 502 big block you will get the correct length for these manifolds. ARP's bolts measure 1.500 instead of 1.250. Part number is 1352002 black or 4352002 stainless.

they really dont loosen up. the intake gaskets seem to settle after a few heat cycles so its always a good idea to go back and retighten the intake after a few warm up's and cool downs. same with headers.
