Can anyone confirm if the Billet Specialities Top Mount Conversion Kit will fit a 70-72 Big Block Car?

I know there are fitment issues with some of the March kits and certainly the GMPP kit but I cannot find any threads online where this kit has been tried.

I suppose I need to break out a tape and try to do some measurements as these are the measurements (sorry, difficult to see but on their black page it shows up well....look below for link to page.)

Looks to be 12" from the center of the crank to the edge of the PS Pulley which is the only area I am concerned with as everything else should be fine.

If anyone is bored and/or has easy access to their car and can check this measurement, I would be much appreciative!

If I go home tonight and it looks like it will work, I think I might give it a shot. I am tired of my A/C belt flapping around and eventually squealing no matter how much tension I try to put in it. I really wish someone would design a TRUE serpentine system with a single belt and tensioner that looked good and fit correctly.

I know this won't appeal to everyone on here because it isn't the "tried and true" v-belt system but some will see and appreciate what I am looking for. I can't tell you how many v-belts I have replaced in the last year. Time for something new!

Well, judging by the pictures and my measurements, it looks like this will fit where others don't as the Power Steering is relatively in the stock location.

I went ahead and placed an order for the pulley kit and a new Sanden 508 Compressor. Thankfully the weather is getting cool so I can go without A/C until I can get new lines made. I need to pull everything off the front of the motor and clean it all up anyway.... Guess this is reason enough.
