I have a BB AC bracket that bolts to the front of the drivers side head (cast iron) that a person wants. What is it worth? Do they still sell new ones? Are they reproducing them?
OPG had it listed in their catalog (2004) as being for 69-75 BB with A/C compressor on drivers side of engine. Listed for $71.95 new (repro) then, probably more now.
But Brad only if it is a 69 set. Every year after starts diminishing in value. A correct 69 bracket as he describes is sometimes advertised for more than the complete set of late 70 and newer. He has not stated if it is a 69 or an 80's of a 454. Lots of difference in the money.
Im looking for an AC bracket that bolts onto the block on a 1968, 396 with factory AC. It connects from the front of the block to the front of the a/c unit. Anyone have a pic of the bracket? or know of one available?
Thanks
Kinda like the 70 upper stamped bracket that is that year specific, you will generally pay $100 just for that. Buit I always see complete 71 on up sets for the A6 for around $200 shipped. Bought a bunch a few years ago and they do come in handy.
Andy 69-70 on the up and over . The 2 bolt front bracket is for the 69 early 70 application as well, the later 3 bolt front one is a dime a dozen fits till the end of useage very plentifull.
