On my 69 Chevelle. I am in the process of moving my battery to the trunk with a disconnect switch. For the 2nd attempt.
My question is. What is the best way to get power to the junction block, that is mounted behind the front mounted battery location? Can I run a short wire from the starter + cable stud to the radiator support and still have the disconnect switch kill the motor? The car has an external regulator.

You can run a length of wire from the junction block to the postivie terminal at the starter solenoid. I can't remember what gauge i used (pretty heavy) though??? You may also want to run a wire from your "kill switch" to the altenator also. That way the "kill switch" will do what its supposed to.

CHELKAMINO Will running a wire from the alternator to the kill switch harm the battery? Sence it has a external regulator. I am not sure about that. Any other thoughts on this?
