Looking for high quality battery cables. Any recomendations ? - Preferably terminated. Battery is in stock location in my 71 El Camino SS.

Not premade but what I have seen that works well is the multistran wire that they use for welding equipment. I havn't seen anything that has finer multistran wire. The smaller and more quntity of the strans, the better electrical feedthrough.

FYI, putting a higher quantity of smaller strands into the same size of cable actually reduces the current capability. We use it at work and we have to use a larger diameter multistrand cable than the equivalent solid core cable. It is very nice to route though. It's a little sensitive to the terminal installation. It has to be well crimped because the strands can move around.

Belden wire and cable makes very good battery cables. NAPA stores used to carry them. They cost a bit more but are well worth it.
