Hello,

I am converting my 70 to disc brakes. I have everything on except the rubber lines, because I don't have the banjo bolts or brass washers.

Anyone know the size for the bolts and washers and do auto part stores carry them?

Thanks,

I recently bought banjo bolts for the disc brake conversion on my '66 wagon from NAPA...in stock.
The copper washers should also be available too although mine came with the "friction ready" Raybestos calipers.

70 Ragtop,

When you do get those banjo bolts and copper crush washers, pay attention to the torque rating for them...very important! Over tightening can possiblt break the bolt (which is hollow) or under tightening can cause a small slow leak or allow air into the system.

You can get away with tightening them by hand but I would go with the torque rating if you have the torque wrench and rating...off hand I do not have it handy, I'm on a lunch break at work right now....
