The dealer and I reached an agreement for me not to take the CrossFire I thought I was getting. In fact, the sales manager told me he was just as happy to keep it at the price he agreed to sell to me.

Just couldn't get past the fact that there was no spare tire, only a can of goop and a compressor. Planned on taking some trips with the wife in this car, and I'm too type A, anal, etc. to be able to relax given the condition of roads in my area, and the effect of potholes on VERY low profile tires.

Drew out the $$$$ this evening at the bank, and will be picking up an '05 GTO next Saturday. Black with red leather interior, 6 speed manual.

At this time, still plan on keeping the Chevelle. It's the only car I've got not depreciating.

I'll continue to see you folks around. Thanks again to everyone in performance, interiors, and body that's helped me out.

I bought an 05 GTO in September; one of the nicest cars to drive I've ever had. And of course I'm doing a twin turbo to make it even nicer.;)
