I made it... it was a little dry following the directions. I think a different BBQ sauce and maybe some other not so strong spices would make it more palitable. It was a good meal though. I used it last year for the Super Bowl.

I was in the mood to do some BBQ-ing so I dug out an old cookbook, Texas Home Cooking, and found a recipe for BBQ Meatloaf. I mixed all the ingredients together and put it on the grill to smoke for 3 hours. It looked great. When we started eating, my wife said that the meatloaf seemed a little spicy. After a while I agreed with her. But we kept eating. After dinner, I looked at the recipe and discovered that I had put in 1 tablespoon each of black pepper and cayenne pepper instead of the 1 teaspoon of each called for by the recipe. (Guess I need to get new glasses.) It is way spicy but it tastes so good that I am going to use the leftovers for sandwiches.
