I have a small problem- My back up lights were all corroded, I cleaned them up and now they wont turn off. I checked under the tranny, and there appears to be no wiring to the switch? (4 Speed) Where do I run the wire from this switch to get my lights to go off? This is on a '69 camaro - but I figure the wiring should be somewhat the same.... Thanks for any input..

Unless I am mistaken, the backup wires go to the steering column switch. Works like a neutral safety switch. Don't think any wires ran down to the 4-speed trans. Think a rod works this, but not sure. Had a 67 4-speed but it was different.
