Not sure why but my back up lights constantly stay on. I checked the location of the switch on the shifter and its where its suppose to be. I checked the ground & it has good contact. I remove the ground and the lights will go off.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If the lights are on even when ignition switch is off, it's wired wrong. 12 volts ignition on one side of switch, backup lamps to other side of switch. Make sure the lamp wiring is sourced from the backup switch. If it checks out, the switch is stuck in closed position.

Thanks for the response. The back up lignts are off when the ignition is off. I traced the wiring and they are correct. I'll have to do a continuity check on the switch.

4-speed? Try twisting the rear collar in/on the steering column.
