can any one tell me what GC means ON THE B/ SHEET . LAST OWNER SAID IT WAS A TRUE 12 BOLT CAR IT IS A REAL 72 SS CHEVELE W/ A L65 BASICLY ALL THERE JUST MISSING A LITTLE HERE AND THERE NOT A POWER HOUSE JUST A REALLY NICE KEEPED SS

im pretty sure it means the car came with 2.73 gears. Is it an aotomatic?

yes it is a/t and the b/s calls for 273 the big ?i cant see if the b/s is calling for a 12 bolt or 10 thanks

My '72 currently has the GC rear and shows a 2.73 on the build sheet and it is a 10-bolt peg-legger.
Building up a new frame with all new suspension and a 12-bolt 3.55 w/eaton. posi. :thumbsup:
