Why are my pic's able to be attached to a post but not on my signature, trying to add my car to my sig and I've already downsized them,
Do I have to have a link to a website?

You can put a link to the pics in your sig line but not an actual pic, I think that's frowned on.

The pics need to be accessable from the web, they can't be located on your harddrive. They can be in your member's showroom here if you have one or there are lots of free image hosting sites. I have comcast internet so I can also place them there, other ISPs also provide space for web pages etc.
Thanks,
I have Comcast,I'll have to figure out how to build a web page.
You don't have to build a web page if you don't want to. You can just upload pics to the space they provide then provide a link to them.

Go to comcast.net, sign in with your email and password. Select Personal Web Pages. Then you have to go through the steps to have them set web space for you. After that you have 250mb of storage that you can really use for anything you want, you don't have to build a web page. Choose HTTP File uploading and you can upload pics, files, etc.
Appreciate the help ,when I get the time next day or so I'll see what I can get done, anxious to get my car on my sig.
thanks again,

Seb
Nobody wants to see your car Seb, don't waste your time :D ;)

you don't have to build a web site or even link to one.. you are a paying Member here at Team Chevelle, so you can upload your pics to the showroom and link from there.. that's the perks baby!

just follow the directions from the showroom!

Mike,
I wasn't going to show the engine compartment, so it should be easy on the eyes.I have a couple busy days ahead ,hopefully have it up this weekend if not sooner.

Thanks Mike

I use the member showroom here too but the space is limited so you have mange it and watch what you upload. Comcast gives you 5 email accounts and 250 mb storage per email account. That's over a gig of storage for any type of files you want to upload.
Hank, are you thinking of the old showroom? You've only used 20% of the space in the new one and I think those are the pictures we transferred last August when we upgraded. Can't match the 250 megs though!

Seb, the new showroom is pretty easy, just click on Upload Photo on the top right of the page and the server will do the rest.

Forgive me ,I don't consider myself computer illiterate, just not a pro.
I've uploaded the pic's and added one to my sig but how do I change from htp//www etc, to keyword My 66 SS on my sig ?
thanks for your time guys
Seb
You've been through enough Seb, so i changed it for you. :)

A couple of ways to do it, the "easy" method is to type 66 SS Marina Blue into the signature box, then highlight the words you want to have as the link and click

enter the http:// address there.

This is using the advanced editor (which I just turned on for you) and it works just about the same as microsoft word and such programs.
