1970 SS 396 L34 with build sheet. Restored to stock condition. First car I ever owned in 1972 was just like this one. Treated it horribly. I looked for 10 years to find another and this time I will treat this one right. Car turn heads wherever I go.

1972 YF3 Heavy Chevy. This is my second 72 Heavy (first one I had in high school). Same color as my first one. First one was a 350, 4brl, 4 speed. This one is a 350, 4brl, 350 auto. First one had an all black interior. This one has a gold interior. This car is a number matching pretty much all original car. No rust, original paint, stripes, interior. I've added power steering, power disc brakes and the SS wheels. I have the factory rally's that came on the car. Enjoy!

I call my 68 Murphy because during the restoration if it could go wrong it did but in the end she is a sweet ride and extremely rare. I am proud that every nut, bolt, wire and all options I did myself rebuilding from the frame off to the interior and exterior paint. Only the engine machine work was done by another shop. That's how you learn my friends. Low mile 1968 Malibu convertible 327/325 L79 with R12 AC, factory 4 piston disc brakes, power steering, power top, full gauges with roller tachometer, M21, 12 bolt 3.31 posi, bucket seats with console and F40 suspension. Best of all the entire drivetrain is number matching right down to the carburetor and distributor. She is the little mouse that could!

Finally I get to show off this magnificent piece of General Motors engineering Might!
This is the second car I owned. Annnnd it is the same car. I know your gonna say where's the rest of the car? But it's all there...no really. I got parts in the attic and some in the basement, a few more tucked away waiting for that day when they are reunited with the rest of them.
Okay it's not all in the same place at the same time but they are close by.... does that count?

Anyway I am just as proud of my car as others who can drive theirs ... LOL and of the fact that I kept her all these years and am finally working on it and giving her what she deserves...Love and care!

And well everything else....LOL

Great Minds Bill great minds....

I'm all for having a category by month contest, ie- different years, stock vs. modified, ect. cause I can't stay in the same arena as a beautiful '70 LS6 'vert!
But here's my '67. 4 years to build, original 36K mile Bolero red car with 6 cyl. 3 on the tree car that sat in a garage for the last 28 years. It now sits on a Schwartz chassis with a 572/ 720 hp with a TKO600. No radio, no power anything, but has A/C. It has a super Sniper that is dialed in pretty darn good, and the car drives awesome.

Here is my love and joy (aside from family lol). It is a 1970 Chevelle. This has been my dream car since I was young. This is my second as the first one after I drove it to my wedding a few weeks after someone smashed into it. My favorite memory is when I was driving to my parents through the country and seeing my daughters face enjoying the ride and singing.

Here are my specs:
1970 Chevelle with a 383 Stroker and TH350. Hedman Long tube headers, Alden American Coilovers, CPP drop spindles, CPP brake system, Umi Performance Sway bars (front/rear), Umi Performance braces (front/rear), CPP control arms and trailing arms. Interior Sparco L777 wheel with quick release. Riddler Wheels in Toyo tires.

Because of the title of this post, I would have to assume that even though this site caters to Chevelles and el Caminos, only Chevelles will be considered for Chevelle of the month.

OK ,I am new to this site, but I am willing to try this. A very recent acquistion, father-in-law passing (Oct 2020). His first car restoration (mid-90's), 1973 SS Chevelle. In April 2020, the SBC that resided under the hood, destroided itself. Taking the block and crank with it. Leaving a huge oil trail down the road. He replaced that with a GM crate motor, along with a new intake and Holley carb. It was also his last project he worked on. I helped him get it timmed and adjust the choke. He had me drive it for that afternoon an put 100 miles on it breaking it in gently. That is my greatest and last memory...

I know that the 73-up are not the fan favorites, but this one is special. It is an original 454 car. Currently powered with a GM Vortec 330hp motor, 4 speed, and 3.73's, headders with Flowmaster exhaust. The interior has been recovered in gray cloth. Swivel seats.

Thanks, Dave
