I just bought 15x7" for the front and need to order 15x81/2's for the back. I've got 295/50/15's Firestones. With 8" and 4.5" backspacing, the tires fit fine. If I go to the standard 15"x 8" with 3 3/4" backspacing, will the 295/50's still clear the factory wheel well lips? If not, can I roll the lips or do I need to order special sized 15x8" with the 4.5 backspacing? What will fit in a stock 69 wheel well?

The Torq-Thrust D's don't come in any special or custom order offsets as far as I know. Checking the ARE website, the 15x8 only come in 3.75" bs and they have a -21.43 mm offset to boot. I seriously doubt if 295/50/15s will fit. You're going to have around a 12" cross-section. Could be wrong, but it'd be close.

JimmyP, I currently have some old vintage US torq thrust style wheels. Their 16x8 w/ 3.25" backspacing mounted on 245/50 rear and 225/55 front. Rears fit with no problem probably could've gone with 255/50's. Fronts fit also. Their in my signature if u want to take a look.

JimmyP, I believe the A.R. torq thrust d's only come in the 15x8.5. When I was looking for that wheel I couldn't find one 15x8. Maybe using a 275/50r15 tire instead might work. When I got my wheels I was worried about the b.s because it was said that 16x8 should have at least 4 1/2", but the wheels fit and are inside of wheelwell w/ the 3 1/4" b.s.
