I was on the OPG web site and came across the "dash cover" for like $80.00 and was wondering how they look. Anybody have one? Pictures? - I really would rather not drop $250.00 + for a dash pad if this will be fairly good looking. I understand that it's not going to score 100 points in the show with this but I don't care about that, I would just like to cover up some of the cracks. It says it's a molded plastic cover that covers the existing dash pad.

I talked to an upholstery guy the other day(so this may be biased) but he said that they are kind of difficult to put on and they have to be heated and molded. He said they are hard to make look good.....BUT, if you're not that concerned about a few mistakes then I'd go for it. You can also try Ebay. I was just looking for one. I enter "72 1972 chevelle dash" in the search box

There is also a fabric type dash cover available through a company on ebay. Around $20.00
I think this is far less painful and costly than that plastic cover. Very good solution for a driver car.

I bought one for my camaro a couple years ago, as long as your dash isn't warped it should fit okay, unfortunately the dash on my 71 curled up by the windshield and shrank by the gauge cluster and there was no way to get it to fit right. Jim
