Started on Monday, getting the aches and then later on the fevers.

Called off sick yesterday and today and am getting cabin fever. Nothing like being sick when its absolutely beautiful outside.

Tired of sitting watching TV and surfing the net, but don't feel like walking around.

Bored outta my gourd. Got the next two days off so hopefully this garbage will clear up and I can work on Saturday.

Thank goodness for Nyquil:hurray:! :boring:

I tried taking a vitamin C pill everyday since the winter started and knock wood, I didn't even get a sniffle this year.

I had the flu so bad a couple years ago, my wife called the rescue because my muscles started to spasm. I was worried my heart or diaphragm was going to be next!

It's making its rounds here too. At one point over the past few weeks, almost 1/3 of the guys in my dept were out with the flu. Nasty stuff.

I've really only ever had it once.

I've been "sick" a number of times, but only once did I have the full on, fever, chills, aches, projectile vomiting, etc for 3 or 4 days.

I don't recommend it.

Some types of the flu are very very bad. I work in x-ray at a hospital and I saw a man come in the er, he was diagnosed with the flu, left that morning, but returned that evening. He went straight to the icu unit and died 4 days later, he was only 28. Right now we have a 34 year old man that is on a ventilator that has the flu, he has been that way for about 2 weeks. This is nothing to take lightly if you have any of the symptoms GO find out if it is the bad flu strain it is very deadly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It just might be the best decision you will ever make.

I never get that either. Not necessary for me.

I've got a killer immune system. I regularly fight off bacterial infections without antibiotics. Hope my kids get my immune system. My dad is the same way. He NEVER gets sick.

Probably because the air you and Brad breathe is filtered through your under wear. AND if you stand up we can hear you better:hurray: Just kidden, feelin mean cause we have more snow comin and back to paintin cars after 5 months too.

Been sick the better part of 2-3 mos. Not the flu but some type of bronchitis cant seem to kick lingers around. Goes away for a week or two then back nothing works.

Feel better, some new strain of the flu going around I hear, LOTS of people sick with it. Hear its pretty bad.

My gf and her kids were sick for 2 weeks. I only got sick after a night of partying. I think all the alcohol lowered my immune system enough that I caught the flu from my gf and the kids. They were sick for a total of 3 weeks. I was only sick for 6 days.
I was OK with being sick. I watched every season of the Trailer Park Boys while I was sick.:hurray:
