Any pics of late model seats with or without headrest in a '64-'76 convertible? The wife and I took a five hour drive last weekend and the stock seats are punishing! Now I know why they have those rest stops on the freeway. Old cars wear you out. Anyway wold love to get an ida of howthe convertible would look with some late model seats in it.

Thanks!

I have aftermarket seats in my hardtop, and I just don't think they would look good in the drop top.

and yes, riding in a worn out bench seat is punishing. I got my self an "old mans lumbar support" pillow for long rides. :)

I think the important thing is that you would need a seat which stays wide at the top and doesn't taper in. One thing I really want to do is put pickup truck seats in a drop top. The ones with the built in seat belt retractor for a four door truck would solve two problems. The only hangup I can forsee is the height of the stock brackets they sit on. Width is damn near perfect from soemthing like a 2000 GM truck.

I got a set of seats out of a 94 mustang and when I had the seats done the guy recut the foam to give them a stock look before he covered them. You do not realy notice anything, when you look at them. I have only had good response at cruz ins.
