A lot of these records are seriously flawed....wrong addresses, wrong names, etc. Because of the numbers, the police can't possibly keep them accurately updated.

to bad the pics aren't better. i know one registered on there near me ,a friend of mines father-inlaw i've known him over 20 yrs would have never reconized him from that pic. the site for our local county sheriff's office has a lot more listed then WATCHDOG SITE maybe because of the zip locating system, our small town in Butler county is spilt in half at Miami river with zip codes

Just last week, the headline in the local paper stated, a Louisianna Sex offender who had been on the run for over a year was arrested right up the street from me. The FBI, GBI and local deputies had tracked him down, and captured him. Now that the leaves are falling , I can see the trailer he was in, through the woods.

Honestly they are not all in there, over the summer we had a guy arrested who lived pretty much directly behind my home who was unregistered (arrested for this reason) who raped and killed two women, one of them a county corrections officer. scary, scary, scary.... to think you chum around with someone, invite them into your home, and later find out they are a murderer. jason.

wow, there was a dude that always hung around the kids when i was a kid. there were rumors about him being a pedifile. cornered me one time when i was little and i ran. almost got me i guess!! I know for a fact that he still lives in the same house. sure enough he is listed. no pic though.

Yep and while I was gone he was caught by neighborhood Harley rebuilder wankin' while watching some little girls play on a trampoline. Turned he had not registered here and was on the lam from another state for similar stuff. We have a couple more in the neighborhood, everyone knows where and the kids stay away. When school started this fall the local school district placed a bus stop in front of one of the homes where the guy was living with his mother. They requested that the district move the stop but the district said they couldn't because of logistics, notification, etc. A couple of weeks goes by and newspaper makes it look like the guy moved there, but just the opposite. BTW his crime was related to consensual sex with a minor, which in Idaho will get you registered as a sex offender and predator for life.
