My Anti-Theft Alarm starting working again today. It hasn't worked for 3 years since completing the restoration on my 66.

I'm talking about that annoying door hinge squeak when you open the door. It used to drive me crazy as well as my neighbors 2 blocks away.

I doubt that I've opened the driver door more than 50 times since restoring the hinges and the car most definitely has not sat out in the weather.

Is there any lubrication available on this planet that will last ? Maybe I need to rig up an oil dripper tube from the valve cover breather.

White lithium grease (lubriplate) and an acid swabbing brush with the bristles cut to 1/2 to apply.

I have tried everything on my S-10 and I still have to lube it every couple of months. I just use plain 30W engine oil. I think its the roller that actually starts making noise.
