Hi Guys, would like some HP/TQ estimates before I hit the dyno. Heres whats being built below. This is going to be a milder, lower rpm deal meant for street/strip fun in a heavy car with a big tire. What do you guys think?

511 BBC 4.25 stroke x 4.375 bore
Scat 4340 crank internal balance, probe srs 18cc dome pistons 1/16 ring pack
10.2 compression
OLD World Merlin Iron 320 rectangle port heads, 2.3 in x 1.9 ex valve
Brodix hv2000 intake
Pro-systems 1000hp 4150 carb
Custom solid roller, 232in x 245ex @.050, .638in x .618ex on a 107 LSA (Thanks Chris Straub!)

Thanks guys. Im not too sure these old heads perform good enough to show some of those bigger numbers like the newer afr or brodix stuff could, so I'm thinking if I see 575-600 I'd be a happy camper. Hope i'm wrong and it goes higher but I still think 575 would be a nice number for a low rpm deal. I hope the torque curve will be nice and flat too!

Re: Another dyno guess post! 511 BBC ** RESULTS**

As promised, the results of the dyno session. Tried a 1" 4 hole and a open 1" spacer, you will see the on the top left of the sheet which one was which. AFR's were low 13's but didn't print on the sheets. Total timing was 36 degrees and jetting was 88/96. If anyone see's anything funny, let me know. Thanks for the estimates guys!

Mike,
Thanks for everything. Just a note to the board, Mike's customer turns this engine in his drag car a max of 5500 rpm. I promised Mike max power around 5400 to 5600 rpm.

Almost 650HP all below 6000 rpm!

Mike,

Was the 4 hole spacer a tapered type or or a standard 4 hole with the same diameter all the way thru?
