Just for fun, I switched my tv back to analog mode and searched for signals. I was surprised to see that there are still a lot of channels broadcasting in analog. Mostly Spanish language and Christian-oriented programming. I thought that the analog stuff was toast after the changeover to digital. How long will it take for the FCC to kill off the analog stations? Now if I only could get more than 4 digital stations.

Low power TV stations were not included in the switch to digital because the cost of the transition would put them off the air permanently. I haven't read the FCC regulations regarding them to know if they have any kind of cutoff date at all. With their low power emissions, they wouldn't really conflict with new services in the same frequency band anyway.
