OK ,you have a Nov 25 ,1918 dated manifold :thumbsup:
I'd figure someone at the foundry had a bad day or didn't realize that an inverted 9 could pass as a 6.
Could also be a 78 service replacement and the 1 was to be a 7 but ...

FWIW, the intake in the photo above came on some 80's and later crate engines and was sold over the counter at GM up to a few years ago and is not "correct" for any restoration.

Notice the snowflake up by the carburetor instead of on the intake runner. :thumbsup:

Well now we are getting somewhere. I use it for the bang not for the restoration deal. I was just curious as to its origin.
