I WENT BACK TO HIM AND HE EXCHANGED THE RADIATOR WITH THE ONE I NEEDED NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!!! GREAT PERSON AND BUSINESSMAN.. I WILL TELL ANYONE THAT NEEDS A RADIATOR TO GIVE DON A CALL!!!! Thanks John
Yes it seems there are some companies out there giving customers miss information ... or not enough correct information .
here are 2 problems John ran into ...I wonder if others have experienced the same thing .

John called to buy some trans lines ...and was told by two parts supplier that 68 to 72 Chevelles used a 8 inch trans cooler only , and they didn’t have the 12.0 set up and none are made that way for 68 to 72 ... WRONG INFO ...true fact 68 to 71 used 12.0 t.o.c then in 72 to 77 Chevelles Switched to the 8.0 toc

Then when he tried to purchase a radiator hose to the water pump ... every parts store he called stated ...all were the same for big block as in there books ... auto zone and various parts stores ... even one of the large suppliers whose name wont be mentioned here ... all had only the 1 -9/16 hose to the radiator connection ... and any big block owner knows the hose for big blocks it's 1.75 at both ends .... by this time he is pulling his hair out , as some places he called wouldn’t even measure the hose to see what the dimensions were .. just said the book says its for big block ... who saved the day GROUND UP RESTORATIONS . THEY HAD THE HOSE IN STOCK .

I am wondering how many of you guys are having the same problems ...should I start carrying hoses in stock to sell also ??? and maybe fresh rubber saddles also ??

I paid a LOT more than that when i bought mine, even as cheap as i am, im not jealous, it was money well spent :)

i was feeling good about my purchase until i realized i paid $130 too much:(. i would have even settled for free shipping. but i do think it's a good product at a fair price. if i had any complaint i would say the shipping $ is inflated quite a bit. but i'm a UPS account shipper and i know what it actually costs, most people wouldn't.

I have to say I struggled with the shipping aspect ... and to have a flat rate shipping price was the best solution over all .
The packaging alone for each unit is $12.50 alone , that’s box shipping sleeve and protector box ...we want to insure there will be no damage .. I do the packaging personally of each unit !!! .... something most company owners do not do ... and we have had complements on the packaging ... if I ship to California U.P.S shipping cost alone is $30.00 not to mention packaging material ... it’s a losing proposition on my end .. New York $ 16.50 ..break even .. that’s the long and short of it ...
yes D.S.L may be cheaper or fed ex ... but ups is my choice .

That is what went threw as well. I never did call ground up though. I ended up settling for a universal hose. I did get one I ordered online from OPG as well but it was wrong from OPG. Maybe I will give them a call to get the correct one.
