Sounds like the Rectifiers may be shot back feeding electric to the alternator and making it a motor only it can't spin because the fan belts keep it locked up...
alternator hot with engine and ignition off.
After trip to local shop, my rod has alternator hot if sitting w/ engine off (not after running).
Ideas?
