40th Hollander only has 3 listed for 1101xxx series:
1101015 ,1101018 &1101022 -jumps to 1102346 as next 3.
50th Hollander goes to 1101099 then jumps to 1101436.
Doesn't show in the superseded parts catalog either.
I'd recheck the #.

I was wondering if it was for a Pontiac, I found it on the passenger floorboard of an 86 that i bought two years ago and will reinstall it if it is the original one. Thanks for your help on this.

It could be the original to that car. The "6A21" is a date: 6 = last digit of the year. (Probably 1986). A21 = January 21st. Check your door jamb date on the blue sticker. If the car was assembled in January 1986 or later, that alternator date 'fits'.
