Back when I did my TKO, someone here pointed me to a supplier with highly accurate alignment dowels, that went below the normal .007 that is available from everyone (including Rob Mc.)

They cam 6 or 8 to the package, and I think the NASCAR guys use them.

Now I cannot find that post, or remember what the name of the company is.

Can someone help?'

Thanks

Joe

Rob Mc makes the good adjustables, and Jegs and Summit sell his under the Lakewood label for $48, call it $60ish with shipping. They have a concentric cap screw that cranks in to flare the block end to lock them. Plus, the engagement into the block is about twice as long as the simple Lakewood units. When I did my Tremec, I bought a set of .007's and .014's from Rob himself. My goofy block needed the .014's, which according to Rob, is pretty rare to be that far off.

Anyway, I have the set of .007's that I just took a picture of to put them on eBay. PM me if you are interested in more info before they go on the market.
