Looking for a reel and hose and would like to hear some experiences and suggestions.
I have an antique rubber hose that is a struggle to use (rolled up on a wall hook) because of it's weight and resistance to being man handled, so I am not looking for something like that. I need lighter and more manageable with regards to hoses.
What do you like?

I have 5 Harbor Freight 50' hose reels in my shop. They coast about $49 each 5 years ago. No leaks so far but the hose cracked at the coupler last month on the 2 hoses used daily.

I bought 2 new Goodyear hoses for them through Amazon for $25 each to install next week.

I would not hesitate to go the same route again.

I thought I would like the Harbor Freight air hose reel but I hardly ever use it because its easier to drag the hose across the floor than to reach up and try to get the reel to stop pulling the hose back in.
If I could pull the hose out a little and the reel would lock, I would use it but it keeps pulling on the hose.
