What is the correct air cleaner cover decal for a 1972 Chevelle SS 402? The major chevelle suppliers don't offer one.

They don't offer one because Chevy didn't use them for '72. It's like 'there ain't no cure for the summertime blues' because there is no such thing.

Cam is right. The SS 402 had no decal, however if you contact Ground Up they have one that says SS 402 and looks very stock! WWW.Groundup.com
