Is there a method to aiming headlights on my 70 Malibu. The front end was removed by previous owner and never got the lamps re-aimed.

Short of comparing to another vehicle, anyone got something a little more specific?

Most shops use an aimer, a device that attaches to the front of the headlamps and registers on the three glass nibs. I have used the garage door method. If you want to go this way, I have some SAE documentation that will help. Let me know.

My old 61 service manual has a manual adjustment method that only requires a screwdriver and a blank wall. E-mail me your fax # and I'll shoot it to you, or leave a snail mail address and I'll send a copy.
