Are the rear stripes gone now?
They will be soon, fiberglass trunk lid is still in primer right now... finishing one end at a time.

How much does your fiberglass trunk lid weight? I could compare it to the pure carbon one I have (thought who knows when it could go on)

Fiberglass trunk lid is 18.4 lbs compared to 36.9 lbs for a stock steel one.

How is the fit of the fiberglass/carbon fiber hood/trunk? Not that my aftermarket steel hood fits worth a $hit but I’ve heard horror stories about glass hoods.
Also, anyone with any long term durability reviews?

My hood fit great. It required minor trimming where it sits on the rubber fender bumper things, but I was very impressed with the fit, quality, and straightness of it.

The trunk lid was less impressive... they make it oversize so you trim to fit, so I got the gaps to look very good, but it sits up too high and has too much arch to it so doesn't match the curve of the quarter panel.

Love the hood, the wheels and the color! (y) ... the chin and trunk spoilers... not so much, sorry.🙁
Claude.
P.S: ...about the hood, is there some kind of gutter to prevent water from spilling all over the engine?

The openings in the hood are in front of the engine, so any water running down them will drip between the radiator and engine. MAF sensor is the only thing electronic directly under them. If driving in wet, I pretty much figure the spray will go everywhere anyway. With a little speed, the air is coming out the holes rather than down into them.

As for the spoilers, they are quite functional. I have a shorter rear one I use on big tracks with higher speeds. The big one is used for low-speed cornering at autocross speeds. Its functionality is quite noticeable over about 35mph. I'd like to make the front one bigger and add a splitter, but I'm pretty sure I'd tear it off on a curb or something if I did... it is still a street-car, after all.

If I ever retire this thing from competitive events, I'll probably chop the rear spoiler down to 6" or 7"... I do think the 10" spoiler looks way oversized, but it's built to the maximum of class rules, and I'm trying to win races. :)
