I've got my coupe (70SS LS6) on a lift and have been measuring the frame to ground distance along both rails. My drivers side frame rail is 1/2" lower at the back (near the tank) and gradually comes to equal at the front spring.

Is there a way to shim the rear spring with a 1/2" spacer to bring the rails level? Is there some other way to do this? I don't think the frame is bent because of the way it gradually decreases from 1/2" to level.

Any help/comments are appreciated.

RLK,
1/2" difference is within spec. Easiest thing you can do is swap the rear springs. Sure fix is an air bag in the offending rear spring.

Thanks for the info. I'll try your spring swap or build a small shim for the lower bracket.
