Folks,

I guess I understand the usefulness of adjustable upper arms. Could someone explain to me if adjustable lowers are needed on a street car that will occasionally make a 1/4 pass or two (or occasionally smoke a rice boy or two)?

Thanks

The factory shipped a lot of these cars with non-adjustable arms in both top and bottom. So obviously they are not required :)

They can be desireable to adjust pinion angle and/or tracking alignment. The upper arms will change pinion angle alone. The lowers can change both pinion angle and tracking. Thus the lowers are both more capable and more complicated to adjust.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to get the adjustable uppers for the pinion angle adjustment. That way, when I do my TKO 600 tranny swap I can make some adjustments. I'll stay with my boxed lowers.
