Can you add to the XP Windows Start Menu. The one that lists i.e.:

Documents
My Recent Documents
My Pictures
My Music
My Computer and so on.....

I want to add to the Start Menu:

My Pictures-D" which points to my "D" drive.

Sure can. Windows usually allows for several ways to perform each each task so here's just one way.

Find the folder on your D: drive that you want to create a short cut to.
Select the folder and Right-click on it. There should be a "Send to" selection with a "Desktop (create shortcut)" option below it.

This will create a shortcut icon folder on your desktop. You can drag-and-drop the newly created shortcut onto the Start button.

That should do it.

Yeah, with program icons you can right click the folder and select "pin to start menu". Folders don't seem to have the option but I did this and it worked: Open "My Computer" and browse to where you can see the desired folder icon. Drag the icon to the start button and hold it there until the start menu appears. Move the icon to the desired location on the start menu and release it. You're done.

Thank You

My Icon was add to the start. Not where I expected it to go. I wanted it to be under my Pictures-C as My Pictures-D. I would not go on that side of the start menue but it'ss as a sub folder under My pictures-C which is OK. :)
