Back in that time period there was a shop called BAE (Bob's Automotive Engineering) out of California. They did a great deal of motorhomes but also made kits for everything from the Volkswagen diesel PU to the 512 Boxer apposing twelve cylinder. They only used the Ray Jay turbo as it was able to be set up in many configurations. The owner was big on challenges and would do some crazy stuff. He had a GMC motorhome swapped the engine to the 500 ci Cadillac motor then he built a twin turbo system for it. Those were the days of build it, try it and then improve on it. It was the hay day of the turbo motorcycle also. Thanks for the post it brought back some good memories.
